Statement of Beliefs

As a Biblically based Christian ministry, Global Adoption, Counseling, and Cultural Resources Inc. follows the Bible through our faith, doctrine, discipline, policy, and practice.

  • We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible word of God; the final authority on truth, morality, and proper conduct; the ultimate and only source of all we believe (2 Timothy 3:16; Psalm 19:7-11).

  • We believe there is one God who is eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:18-20).

  • We believe that putting faith in Jesus Christ as the Savior and one true God leads to the repentance of sins and results in the resurrection of believers into eternal life (John 3:16-18).

  • We believe in the regeneration of believers by the Holy Spirit whose indwelling enables them to live godly lives (Acts 2:38; Titus 3:5).

  • We believe God creates all human life in His own image including the pre-born baby, the orphan, the widow and widower, the physically and mentally challenged, the elderly, and those in every other stage and condition of life, from conception to natural death. We are called to value, protect, and defend all human life (Genesis 1:26; Psalm 139:13-16).

  • We believe God creates each person as male or female, and rejection of one’s biological sex rejects the image of God within that person (Genesis 1:26-27).

  • We believe that the term marriage has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman into a single, exclusive union (Genesis 2:18-25). God intends and commands sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman within the context of marriage (1 Corinthians 6:18, 7:2-5; Hebrews 13:4). Any form of sexual immorality (including fornication, sexual intimacy outside of marriage, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, polygamy, incest, and use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God (Matthew 15:18-20; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10).

  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers, with equality across race, gender, and class differences (Galatians 3:28; Colossians 3:11).

  • We believe that the Bible teaches parents to instruct children in the way of the Lord by doing righteousness and justice (Genesis 18:19), to be a model of good works showing integrity and dignity in teaching (Titus 2:7), and not to cause any of the little ones to sin (Mark 9:42).
