Green Heart Projects

For many years, our foreign exchange students from all around the world have worked together with local Americans in the Reforest Bluegrass program to better the environment of central Kentucky. They also have planted trees together with their American host homes, schools, and city/government facilities (e.g., City Hall, Mayor's Building), leaving marks of international friendships and joint efforts for bettering the environment we all share.

Internationally, we have built friendship between Kentucky and Hong Kong with the gift of our famous Bluegrass Seeds, by launching the Green Heart Project abroad, and with our mission trip to help develop the Ethnic Minority Center with Operation Mobilization in Hong Kong. By engaging people from Indonesia, Philippines, Pakistan, and more, as well as working and living in Hong Kong, we laid the foundation to develop the Ethnic Minority Center and provide much appreciated volunteer community service. At the same time, by working together we have helped build understanding and strengthen relationships among the ethnic groups and local Chinese people, and further consolidate the development of the Ethnic Minority Center.
